Photo-realistic rendering is a great tool. Rarely with the final article look like the rendered image, but they are great for concept and marketing. On more than one occasion has my rendered images produced a “yes” from the customer. While my customer was an internal manager, our department gained the go-ahead for the project much faster than might have otherwise been realized.
